Hotel Accommodation at Clachaig

The Clachaig Inn has a total of 23 bedrooms, each and every one having en suite facilities. The accommodation offers a choice of double, twin and family rooms, some with bath, and all with shower and toilet facilities.

Clachaig has grown over its 300 year history, and our bedrooms vary in location within the buildings. For ease of description, we have categorised these as follows:

Ossian Wing
This describes the oldest part of the building. These bedrooms typically have combed ceilings. All of our bedrooms with baths are located in the Ossian Wing.

These rooms capture the feel and style of the more traditional Highland hostelry. See the Gallery.

Bidean Wing
Large windows ensure a bright and airy feel to these rooms, and the Twin rooms, with magnificent mountain views are often requested during the summer months.

These rooms are above our Bidean Lounge, though noise transfer is minimal and the bars close at 11pm (midnight on Fridays). See the Gallery.

The Lodge
The most recent addition to Clachaig, built in the mid 1980s with a motel style in mind. Although separate from the main building, access is protected by a covered walk way.

The ability to park right outside some of these rooms, and the open elevations to the glen make these rooms a popular choice. See the Gallery.

All the rooms have been thoroughly modernised and all are designated as 'non smoking'. All rooms are equipped with tea & coffee making facilities and colour television.

One dog is permitted in three of our lodge bedrooms. Please enquire as to the availability of these rooms if you wish to bring a dog. Please do not ask to bring more than one dog. This policy can only be continued if our rooms are respected by pet owners so please bring your own dog bed etc. and never leave your dog unattended in the room.

Residents at Clachaig can enjoy a full cooked Scottish breakfast to start their day. A full menu featuring everything from light snacks to three course meals is available throughout the day from midday until 9pm.

Residents can also make full use of other facilities and services on offer, such as the large drying room and packed lunches to order. Clachaig offers a free Broadband Wireless Network in our public areas, and the network can also be picked up in some bedrooms.
