Cachaig Restaurant - Eating out in GlencoeDine in any of the 3 bars at Clachaig - the menu and the price remain the same, though the style of service varies to reflect the atmosphere of the room.

Residents can also enjoy our extensive breakfast menu. We challenge you to find a better start to the day anywhere, with our selection of fruit juices, yoghurts, cereals and porridge, followed by The Whole Hog - featuring Scottish wild boar bacon and sausage and Stornoway black pudding.

Whether straight off the Glencoe hills with a hunger generated by all that fresh air or a more formal dining treat, Clachaig caters equally well for every occasion.

The hardest part of the day will probably be choosing what to have! Here's just a selection our wide range of dishes designed to wet your appetite:

So where does it come from?
More and more we recognise that as part of our "Real" Customer Promise, we need to ensure that our food is made from the best locally sourced produce wherever possible and practical. For that reason, we have carefully selected suppliers for our ingredients.

Our wild boar comes from Boars of Beauly, where they are raised on the wooded hillsides overlooking the Beauly Firth in Inverness-shire. Venison also comes from the Highlands, this time from various estates. Scotland also produces all our beef.

Black pudding is made by Charles Macleod family butchers on the Isle of Lewis, surely some of the few people to know as much about black puddings as Michael Palin’s Ripping Yarns character Eric Olthwaite.

For haggis we’ve turned to another well known butcher, this time Macsween of Edinburgh. Trivia buffs may be interested to know that it is made in the world’s first factory dedicated to haggis making alone.

And finally, no menu is complete without a selection of good quality tea and coffee. Choose from a range of teas or enjoy a "bean-to-cup" coffees - each mug is prepared from beans ground at the very last minute to give the freshest coffee possible.

Choose from Espresso, Americano, Cappuccino or Latte. And if you're in a rush, all our hot drinks are available "to go" in disposable cups with lids. Better still buy one of our branded thermal mugs and we'll fill it with you first coffee for free!
